Lake living, upstairs sleeping
Lutz straddles two worlds: the lakefront homes with their raised main floors and long staircases down to the water, and the suburban developments with classic two-story family plans. Both have stairs that get harder with time, and both get the same careful treatment from us.
The lakefront properties often need the two-part solution: an indoor lift for the main staircase and an outdoor lift for the exterior steps — entry stairs, deck stairs, the long run down toward the lake. Outdoor units are weatherproofed for sun, rain, and humidity, with covers that keep the chair ready.
Long staircases, straightforward installs
Some Lutz homes have notably long staircases — high ceilings mean more steps. Length alone is no obstacle: the rail is cut to fit, with extra support brackets along the run. What we check carefully on long stairs is the ride comfort and the charging — both standard, both fine. A long straight staircase is still a straight staircase, and still a single-visit install.
